What We Do

Our vision is to advance the living conditions of the very poor to medium income population in Orange County. Our mission is to promote the general welfare and prosperity of the very poor to medium income population in Orange County. Programs and services that will foster and operate will be those that can advance the living conditions of senior citizens, the family unit, and its members. Said programs and services will include, but not be limited to, programs and services addressing needs in mental health, housing, transportation, nutrition, education, physical health, counseling, welfare, and rehabilitation. Over 35 years ago a small group of people had a unique vision. Throughout the surrounding community they saw hunger and senior citizens who were struggling to get around town. They realized there was a huge unmet need. Starting with a transportation program Abrazar has grown and now reaches the community in a unique and powerful way. Abrazar impacts hundreds of families a week. Sometimes it's as small as a bag of food for the week and other times it's through a class focusing on learning the English language. We are continually growing in order to meet the needs of the surrounding community.
