Join volunteers across the nation to foster literacy and enrich our local communities by reading to TK- 3rd grade students at an Elementary School in Anaheim. Volunteers must RSVP to obtain school assignment.
- Reading begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and goes until 9:30 a.m.
- There will be 1 - 2 volunteers reading to each classroom.
- Volunteers across the nation will read the same book, Not Norman, A Goldfish Story.
- An early RSVP is appreciated and will help to ensure all volunteers receive the book.
By volunteering at this project you will personally provide local children the ability to experience the many of positive qualities that reading brings, including reducing the dropout rate! In addition, you will also be helping to accomplish the FACE 2024 Education Goal: Cut the high school dropout rate in half.
