We have a new mentoring program that launched in the fall of 2015. It is called Bright Start and we are looking to pair a mentor with a K-6th grade student. We have 25 children that are in need of a mentor for a minimum of 1 hour per week, for one year’s time. Curriculum is provided by Every Monday Matters weekly for the mentor to work through with the student and is designed to inspire a new normal for our children as they learn how much and why they matter to themselves, the community around them, and to the world. Mentoring sessions will take place at a location convenient for the family and at a time convenient to both the mentor and child.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, for a year.
Possible times: Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30pm – 8pm and
Saturdays *
(*We do not do mentoring on Mondays or Sundays)
