In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday join other volunteers and read to local Anaheim students. Students love being read to and seeing new faces in their classrooms.
- Activity is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- If you prefer a one time slot over the other (10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) please send an email by clicking here to indicate what time you need
- There will be 1 volunteer reading to each classroom
- School location will be provided along with other instructions (by Thursday, February 25)
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring a Dr. Seuss book (K-5 reading level) to read to the class and donate to the school after the activity
- An early RSVP is appreciated and will help ensure all volunteers receive their instruction and location in a timely manner
- All volunteers will be asked to complete this waiver prior to the activity - all volunteers under 18 will need to have their parent or guardian complete the bottom portion
Since reading to children helps decrease the dropout rate, you will help accomplish the FACE 2024 Education Goal: Cut the high school dropout rate in half. For more information on FACE 2024 click here.
