Disaster Government Operations:

When disasters strike, it takes coordinated efforts of government agencies working alongside nonprofit organizations to quickly respond and help chart the path forward. Volunteers serving as Government Operations Service Associates serve as direct contact with government partners, often in an Emergency Operations Center or other coordination center, during a Disaster Relief Operation to ensure that Red Cross actions are aligned with the government 

MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE! 

We are seeking those able to travel outside of their local area, a commitment of at least 14 consecutive days, working 8- or 12-hour shifts, is required. When hurricanes, wildfires, and other disasters strike, families are left without the basics — food, shelter, and comfort. You can be the one who helps them begin to recover. Deploy across the country to deliver shelter, supplies, and support when it’s needed most. 
 
SCHEDULE Available to respond to disasters. 14 consecutive day deployments. 

QUALIFICATIONS – Must be 18 years or older. Must live in Orange County, California. Bilingual a plus. Must be able to deploy for 14 consecutive days. Prior experience in government operations needed (no exceptions). Must have valid driver's license.
