Description: Help empower individuals in our community by supporting Orange County United Way’s UpSkill OC program—a workforce development initiative that connects job seekers to stable, middle-skill careers through career coaching, training, and employer partnerships. In this role, volunteers will assist with outreach to past Student Success participants—individuals who have previously received support through United Way’s programs—to inform them about new career and training opportunities available through UpSkill OC.
Volunteers will use provided email templates, scripts, and contact databases to send outreach emails and make follow-up phone calls (after one week) to ensure participants have received the information. This project can be completed from the office or from home at your convenience.
