The OC Free Tax Prep campaign offers free tax preparation services in Orange County through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Join a team of 500 volunteers making a local impact of almost $22 million every year.
No prior experience required. Training will be provided by United Way and the IRS in November, December and January.
Free tax preparation starts at the end of January and runs through April 15th.
This is a great way to get tax prep experience and help low-income residents achieve financial stability:
Volunteer opportunities available:

- Interpreter: Interpreters aid taxpayers by working alongside the taxpayers and tax preparers. (Farsi, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese and American Sign Language volunteers are needed.)
