It's never too early to think about helping! We are looking for individuals, families, organizations, or companies to host a drive or bring in donations up our upcoming Winter Workers event. Last year, the Winter Workers team compiled over 130 baskets filled with supplies and necessities for local families in need. Join Girls Inc. by being a part of the difference in our community! Please make sure all donated items are new and unopened. We partner with local agencies to provide a basket to as many families as possible. THis year our goal is to provide 150 families with baskets for the holiday season.
Items needed include:
- School supplies (crayons, markers, paper, binders, etc.)
- Toys/games (playing cards, board games, puzzles, balls, jump ropes, etc.)
- Canned goods (non perishable food)
- Tolietries (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
- Teen items (journals, sports equipment, jewelry, music, etc.)
- Books (all ages)
- Baby items (bottles, blankets, diapers, toys, etc.)
- Event supplies (wrapping paper, ribbon, boxes, cellophane, tape, etc.)
