ABOUT THIS REMOTE PROJECT:

Volunteers are needed to gather, assemble and donate welcome care kits from your own home, work, or in your community as Remote Volunteers. The welcome home kits you make will be provided to our shelter families. Thank you so much for your help!

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Collect Items

You can be a bit creative with the items that you use, but please know that the items listed are the most needed for our families. Items that are perfect for these care bags are listed below, but you can be creative and choose what you want to include:

    • Full Sheets
    • Full Blankets/Comforters
    • Pillows & Pillowcases
    • Twin Bed Bug Covers
    • Full Bed Bug Covers
    • Bath Towels
    • Wash Cloths
    • Toothbrush/Toothpaste
    • Deodorant
    • Shampoo/Conditioner
    • Body Wash/Soap
    • Toilet Paper
    • Cleaning Supplies
    • Paper Towels
    • All-Purpose Cleaner
    • Sponges
  • Suggested Items

    • Pots/Pans
    • Tupperware Containers
    • Broom/Dustpan
    • Cleaning Supplies
      • Towels
      • Bleach or Disinfectant cleaner
      • Duster

      • Bucket

Create Care Kits

Now you are ready to assemble! We recommend packing the items in a sturdy container like a plastic container with a lid or a basket.


DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS:

Once your first aid kit(s) has been completed you are ready to drop them off.

Drop off location: 611 S. Ford Ave, Fullerton CA 92832. Please knock on the far-left door.

Days and Times: Tuesday through Fridays between 9:30-11:30am are the preferred drop off times! These are the drop off times that have been created for the safety of our staff and volunteers. We are serving clients between 1-4pm.

Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For 50 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.

The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as housing assistance to those experience housing issues.
